Hunt: Premier League interest
Reading boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted Stephen Hunt could be set to leave the club before the end of the transfer window.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder has been linked with a number of Premier League sides and is reportedly eager to secure a switch back to the top-flight.
And while Rodgers has not revealed any details about interested parties, he has suggested that he is likely to move on in the near future.
"I think there'll be some interest in Stephen," he told Sky Sports News.
"I think the last couple of weeks in August it'll really ramp up, where I think there'll maybe be one or two players go and certainly one or two players come in."
The Royals finished fourth in the Championship last season and, despite the expected changes, Rodgers is convinced the squad he inherited is capable of challenging again.
"I spoke to Steve Coppell during the week and thanked Steve," he said.
"He's brought in the right type of players here. Not just the right players but the right personalities."
