Redknapp: Not done yet

Harry Redknapp has stated Portsmouth are still looking to bring new players to the club.

The south coast side have been busy this close season following the captures of Peter Crouch, Glen Little and Ben Sahar.

However, Pompey are consistently linked with further spending and Redknapp has confirmed that if the price is right the club are happy to do a deal or two.

When asked if Pompey are looking to make any more signings, Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "We'd like to.

Stronger

"I still feel if we can get one or two more in we'll be obviously even stronger.

"We're looking. We're looking around. We've got some terrific target I think. If we could get them it would be great."

Pompey have been linked with the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips and Younes Kaboul this summer, but Redknapp refused to divulge who the club wanted.

Coy

"I wouldn't want to say. I don't want to end up in trouble. Someone will report me for talking about other teams' players," he joked.

It has been speculated the likes of David Nugent may have to be sold in order to finance further spending, but Redknapp says that is not necessarily true.

"We've spent a bit of money. We'll have to see. Peter Storrie (chief executive) is working hard at it."
