Hermann Hreidarsson is ready to consider his future at Portsmouth due to a lack of first-team opportunities.

The Icelandic defender has started just once in the Premier League this season following the signings of Nadir Belhadj and Armand Traore.

He has been linked with former clubs Charlton and Ipswich, and the 34-year-old's agent Olafur Gardarsson admits the player is unhappy with his situation.

"At this stage of his career, it's difficult for him to sit on the bench and not play," said Gardarsson in The Times.

Ghanaian arrives

Meanwhile, Portsmouth have completed the signing of Ghanaian teenager Torric Jebrin after the winger impressed on trial.

Jebrin joins Pompey from Hearts of Oak and has immediately been loaned out to the club's Belgian feeder team Zulte-Waregem.

Director of youth operation Paul Hart told the club's official website: "Jebrin's a great little kid with a lovely left foot. He was spotted by our scout in France.

"There were some sides from Spain interested in him, as well as some big clubs from elsewhere in Europe, so we've done very well to get him here."
