Andre Ooijer is determined to ensure Blackburn overturn a two goal deficit in their Uefa Cup tie against Larissa.

Rovers head into the second leg of their first round tie trailing 2-0 after a disappointing first leg in Greece a fortnight ago.

Ooijer knows Mark Hughes' men cannot afford to concede at Ewood Park on Thursday.

And the Dutch defender is confident Blackburn's strikers will be able to cancel out the deficit to send them through to the group stages.

Huge game

"We've got a very big game, the good thing is that we all know what we have to do," Ooijer told Rovers World.

"It is going to be simple, there are no excuses, we know what we have to do. If we want to progress we have to win, we have to win big time.

"Even if it is 0-0 at half-time then we still have a chance, we just can't concede a goal.

"The real negative is that we didn't score over in Volos, because if we had then it would have been a better result.

"But we didn't do it, so we just have to go out there and be confident, and I am confident."
