Blackburn are uncertain how long Roque Santa Cruz will be out of action for.
The former Bayern Munich ace is struggling with tendinitis and he has been forced to pull out of the Paraguay squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Santa Cruz has enjoyed a fine start to the season and Rovers are sweating over the extent of the striker's injury.

Blackburn chairman John Williams said: "Roque didn't have his scan until Monday afternoon and he is still being observed."We do not know at the moment how long he will be out."
