Cesc Fabregas: Arsenal v Tottenham, live on Sky Sports, December 22.
Sky Sports has confirmed its line-up of exclusively live Barclays Premier League games up to the New Year.
The fifteen live matches for December, selected in consultation with the Premier League, include a Grand Slam Sunday featuring last season's top four clubs, in two head-to-heads, on Sunday 16 December.
The new live matches scheduled on Sky Sports include:
· GRAND SLAM SUNDAY: A live double-header on Sunday 16 December with Liverpool vs Manchester United at Anfield followed by Arsenal vs Chelsea from the Emirates Stadium.
· MAJOR DERBIES: The north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 22 December and the traditional rivalry of Chelsea vs West Ham United on Saturday 1 December.
· MORE BIG GAMES: Last year's leading four teams in six other live matches including: Newcastle United vs Arsenal [Wednesday 5 December], Portsmouth vs Arsenal [Wednesday 26 December] and Manchester City vs Liverpool [Sunday 30 December].
There are six live matches in the Christmas week and Boxing Day will bring two live matches with West Ham United vs Reading at lunchtime and Portsmouth vs Arsenal in the evening.
The new selections follow the 33 live games in the opening four months of the season announced this summer. They take Sky Sports through the half-way stage of the season.
Announcing the new set of live matches on Sky Sports, Vic Wakeling, Managing Director of Sky Sports, said:
"We promised the big head-to heads and have delivered again. You don't get bigger than two on the same day with Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea - it's a Grand Slam Sunday on 16 December.
"Manchester City are in this year's leading pack, and they will be seen twice in December. And there are more big games including the North London derby between Arsenal and Spurs."
Sky Sports will show a total of 92 live Premier League games this season - more than ever before - and 242 delayed matches. All live Premier League matches are covered in High Definition. Sky also offers Barclays Premier League coverage through mobile and broadband.
