MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo is hopeful captain Keith Andrews will remain at the club despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.

On Sunday, the League One side confirmed that Andrews has been made available for transfer amid reported interest in his services.

Former Dons boss Paul Ince, now at Blackburn Rovers, has been linked with a swoop for Andrews; however, as yet, no official offer has been made.

Di Matteo is keen to keep the 27-year-old midfielder at stadium:mk, but has placed him on the transfer list in a bid to clear up his future.

He told the club's official website: "There's been a lot of speculation about Keith and there hasn't been an official offer yet so we just want to get it right.

"He is still part of this team and I hope he will stay with us but we have put him on the transfer list because there has been speculation but we haven't had a written offer from anybody.

"We can't wait any longer for a decision to be made."
