Sam Allardyce has admitted his frustration over the ongoing contract talks involving Junior Hoilett and Morten Gamst Pedersen.

Both players are out of contract with Blackburn at the end of the season and have yet to agree on new deals.

Allardyce has previously expressed his confidence in securing Pedersen's long-term future despite the fact that he has been linked with a move to Turkish club Fenerbahce.

However, the lack of success he has had with young Canadian forward Hoilett has made Allardyce more uncertain.

Frustration

"It is almost a year we have been trying to sort out Junior's deal and that is no nearer completion," he said in The Sun.

"Morten might drag on to be the same which would be very frustrating. We don't know what is ours and what is not.

"We will keep on trying and hopefully Junior and Morten will sign on for us.

"The world we live in means everyone knows their value and if you can't pay the going rate, they'll try to find somewhere else."

Pedersen has been in fine form for Rovers in recent weeks and Allardyce expects a decision on his future soon.

"We'll find out in the next week or two if Morten will commit."
