Torquay United have completed the permanent signing of Huddersfield Town defender Anthony Lloyd.
The 21-year-old has penned a deal until the end of the season with The Gulls after spending the last two months on loan with the League Two club.
Lloyd had failed to make a breakthrough with The Terriers and the youngster will hope to build on his 10 appearances for the South Devon outfit.
The news comes as Plainmoor boss Leroy Rosenior has taken Newcastle United youngster Marc Walton on trial.
The 18-year-old will train with Torquay, with a view to a possible move to the club.
Walton has been a regular goalscorer at youth level for The Magpies and is in the England Under-19 set-up.
