Nicky Butt is in no rush to decide on his next career path after leaving Newcastle in the summer.

The midfielder has already confirmed that he will quit the Championship title winners after their last game of the season at QPR on Sunday.

Ipswich manager Roy Keane has confirmed his interest in Butt, a former Manchester United team-mate, while some reports suggest the 35-year-old is set to retire.

Butt has yet to decide on his future and will consider all options over the summer before making his next move.

He told the Newcastle Chronicle: "I'm going away on holiday, and if I want to retire, I'll retire, and if I want to play on or coach, I can try and do that as well.

"There is no rush to decide what I want to do.

"I want to get the game out of the way on Sunday, and then I'll see what I want to do."
