Zemmama: Boro interest
Middlesbrough have made a move for Hibernian schemer Merouane Zemmama, skysports.com understands.
The Moroccan international has only returned to action in the last month following nine months out with a knee ligament injury.
But Boro boss Tony Mowbray is a huge fan of the 27-year-old playmaker, who he signed for the Easter Road outfit in 2006.
Now, with his contract due to expire in the summer, Mowbray is ready to take advantage and sign Zemmama this month.
Mowbray, having sold big wage earners David Wheater and Gary O'Neil, is now being given some finance to bolster his relegation threatened squad.
Skysports.com understands that a bid of £200,000 could be enough to seal the deal for Zemmama.
