Fulham to up Kamara bid

Skysports.com understands Fulham have made a new improved bid for West Brom's Diomansy Kamara.

Fulham are believed to have tabled a bid of £6million to land the Senegalese star after West Ham reportedly joined the chase for his services.

Lawrie Sanchez has made Kamara his top transfer target this summer and has been locked in talks over a move for the last few weeks.

Kamara's move to Fulham hit a snag last week after Fulham and West Brom were unable to agree a deal.

Fulham were hoping to offer Heidar Helguson in part exchange for Kamara, but the Icelandic forward has been stalling over the move to the Hawthorns.

With West Ham threatening to pinch Kamara from under their noses, Fulham are believed to have made a straight cash bid in an attempt to land Kamara.

Kamara is believed to be keen on a move to Fulham and has already passed a medical at Craven Cottage after holding talks with the club.
