Fulham have made an enquiry about the availability of Celtic midfielder Thomas Gravesen.

The Denmark international has yet to figure for the Scottish champions this season and has failed to fully establish himself in Gordon Strachan's first-team plans since joining from Real Madrid 12 months ago.

He was wanted by Sheffield United earlier in the summer, but could be offered a return to the Premier League.

Lawrie Sanchez has confirmed his interest in the former Everton player and is weighing up his next move.

"I have been in contact with Celtic, but that's really as far as it goes," said Sanchez.

"Gravesen is a player I admire, but no bid has been made.

"I simply asked Celtic about his availability and why he's not been in their plans lately."
