Lafferty: Northern Ireland international
Burnley boss Owen Coyle has admitted the club could sell Fulham target Kyle Lafferty for the right price.
The Premier League club made a £3million offer for the Northern Ireland international back in August, but that was turned down by then manager Steve Cotterill.
Lawrie Sanchez is believed to still be interested in the player, but has been told that the player will not be leaving Turf Moor without an improved bid.
Lafferty has only scored one goal so far this season, but is highly regarded as one of the most exciting talents in the Championship, and new Clarets boss Coyle is understandably keen to hold onto one of his biggest assets.
"I am keen to keep my best players but, football being football, people will look at him," Coyle said.
"There comes a time when business kicks in and if a young player gets a good offer that could benefit him it is something the club will look at.
"But I do feel he would benefit from playing another year at Burnley at least to help him develop."
