Norwich City could make a move for Fulham defender Dejan Stefanovic, according to the player's agent.

The 33-year-old Serbian central defender has fallen down the pecking order at Craven Cottage and may need to quit West London in the pursuit of first team football.

Norwich are known to be in the market for defensive reinforcements and Stefanovic's agent, Phil Smith, has confirmed that there has been tentative talks with the Championship club.

"There has been some interest, some discussion," he told the Norwich Evening News.

"But there is nothing that has gone further down the line. It's an idea at the moment.

"But it's not gone further than that."

Stefanovic figured in 15 games last season but under Roy Hodgson's tenure his stock fell considerably, with the former Portsmouth favourite making his last appearance in January.
