Fulham new-boy John Pantsil is hoping to use his move across London to prove he is good enough for the Premier League.

The Ghana international spent two years with West Ham but made just seven league starts for The Hammers.

Pantsil was snapped up by manager Roy Hodgson along with Bobby Zamora and the 27-year-old is keen to seize his Craven Cottage opportunity.

Challenge

"This is a new challenge now for me, to come here and prove that I deserve to be a Premiership regular," he told www.kickoffghana.com.

"I am happy with the opportunity and determined go put in the time on the training grounds to get that.

"I have felt welcome here. I was just delighted to play and I hope it is a sign of good things to come."
