Roy Hodgson has called on his Fulham side to continue their impressive home form in Saturday's London derby against West Ham.

The Cottagers have already defeated Bolton and Arsenal on their own patch this season, with Gianfranco Zola's Hammers their next test in the Premier League.

Fulham must also bounce back from their midweek Carling Cup exit at Burnley, where Hodgson made eight changes to his side and saw them lose to a late goal from substitute Jay Rodriguez.

Hodgson felt the side he selected had enough quality to progress against the Clarets, but is happy that a number of his squad will be well rested for the Premier League showdown.

Motivation

He told Sky Sports News: "There were a lot of changes in the team, a lot of players were unable to play against Burnley, so they'll be fresh for tomorrow.

"The motivation on our side is going to be sky-high and I hope we can continue the good performances we showed in the previous two home games. That's our aim, that's our goal.

"We were very disappointed to lose at Burnley, we put up a very good performance there.

"The team that we had on the field was a good enough team to win that game, but we lost it with two minutes to play.

"That's a disappointment and you have to get over disappointments. I can't deny that's a task for us, especially coming on the back of a fairly similar defeat against Blackburn Rovers."
