Fulham midfielder Seol Ki-hyeon has joined Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal on a six-month loan deal.

The South Korea international has made just two Premier League starts this season after struggling to force his way into Roy Hodgson's plans.

He has been a regular on the bench for the Cottagers, but is keen to find first-team football.

His disappointing spell at Craven Cottage comes on the back of a lacklustre 12-month stint at Reading.

Seol also found opportunities hard to come by at the Madejski Stadium, unable to hold down a regular role in a side which ultimately succumbed to relegation from the Premier League in 2007.

His time in England had started brightly during a successful two years at Wolves, but he now heads to the Middle East hoping a new challenge will help to resurrect his flagging career.
