Lincoln City have extended the loan of Fulham defender Adam Watts until January after he made an immediate impact.

Watts was new Imps boss Chris Sutton's first signing at the start of October and he moved to Sincil Bank on an initial month-long deal.

However, he has impressed sufficiently in helping Lincoln secure back-to-back 1-0 wins to earn an extension with the League Two club.

The 21-year-old, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for Fulham, will stay until January 2, although he will not be eligible to play in the FA Cup.

The centre-half is expected to keep his place in the Lincoln team for Saturday's game at Northampton, where he enjoyed a spell on loan at the end of last season.
