Premier League club Wigan Athletic have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Richard Kingson.
The Ghana international, who was a free agent after leaving Birmingham at the end of last season, has been training with The Latics.
He has now signed a three-year deal at The JJB Stadium after completing a medical.
Kingson is reunited with Latics boss Steve Bruce - who brought him to England whilst in charge at Birmingham.
"He's a really decent keeper," Bruce stated.
"You don't play nearly 60 times for one of the top 20 nations in the world without having something about you and I think he'll add real competition to the squad here."
Kingson, who scored in a recent international friendly when he headed home a free-kick from his brother - Hearts' Laryea Kingston - is delighted to have signed for Wigan.
"Like any player, I just want to play. It's terrific to be back in England. Steve Bruce is a great manager and I'm looking forward to my career at Wigan," he said.
"I know there are two good goalkeepers here already and all I can do is fight for my place and see where that takes me."
