Sibierski: Due to return to JJB
Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce says Norwich City have not made an offer to keep Antoine Sibierski.
The experienced Frenchman has spent the first half of the season on loan at Carrow Road and has scored twice in 15 appearances.
Reports have claimed that Sibierski had agreed to join the Championship strugglers on a free transfer when his loan deal expires next week.
However, Bruce expects the attacker to return to Wigan after confirming there has been no offer from his Norwich counterpart Glenn Roeder.
"Sibi is due to come back on January 17 and I've no problem about that happening," Bruce told the Wigan Evening Post.
"The loan has served its purpose as Sibi has got some games under his belt and would be available for our squad.
"At the moment there hasn't been an approach from Norwich to take him for longer, so I assume he will come back to us."
