Malta international Michael Mifsud claims he has been offered a move to Sheffield United.

The Lillestrom ace has attracted the interest of a host of teams after impressing for club and country this year.

Mifsud is available on a free transfer in January and he has never hidden his desire to play at a higher level.

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock is keen to bolster his attacking options when the transfer window reopens in January and Mifsud is thought to be his top target.

Mifsud claims he has been made an offer by United and that he has been given 10 days to make a decision on his future.

"They gave me 10 days to consider the offer but there's not really much to think about," Mifsud told the News of the World.
