Wilson: Happy after draw with Scunthorpe
Danny Wilson was delighted after Sheffield United came from behind to extend their unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe.
The Blades looked in trouble in the first half against their bogey team who they had not beaten in their previous six attempts.
Striker Chris Dagnall fired Scunthorpe into the lead on the stroke of half time with a brilliant solo effort, but substitute Ched Evans equalised in the 77th minute with an overhead kick from close range.
"We can't be too disappointed to come away from home and get a point," said Wilson. "But the way the game panned out in the second half I did think we could have forced it a bit more.
"We had a lot of pressure but too many times our final ball wasn't good enough. I didn't see the incident which led to their player being sent off but the fourth official said it was for a dangerous challenge.
"I did see the goal that Dagnall scored to put Scunthorpe in front and I'm sure he will think of it as one of his best but from our point of view it was a woeful one to concede. In the second half Scunthorpe battened down the hatches and defended for their lives."
