League One leaders Sheffield Wednesday are not in action until Sunday, so the likes of Peterborough United can stake a claim to go top of the table.

Sheffield Wednesday are one of four teams still unbeaten in the division and Alan Irvine's side head to Brentford on Sunday, live on Sky Sports 1 & HD1 for a midday kick-off.

On Saturday, the weekend programme gets underway at lunchtime when MK Dons entertain Hartlepool United in front of the Sky Sports 1 & HD 1 cameras.

Peterborough are currently a point adrift of the summit and travel to a Tranmere Rovers side still waiting for a first league win of the season.

Carlisle United have yet to taste defeat this term and are at home to a Swindon Town outfit looking to kick-start their season after no wins in four games.

Oldham Athletic have enjoyed an encouraging start to the campaign and Paul Dickov's unbeaten side are at home to Bristol Rovers, who were thumped at home by Southampton last weekend.

Southampton sacked Alan Pardew on the back of that 4-0 win and caretaker manager Dean Wilkins will hope for a better showing at home to Rochdale than the one he presided over in defeat by Swindon in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Colchester United are the only other team yet to lose in League One and they travel to Walsall, who have won two and lost two so far.

Huddersfield Town are among the teams tipped for promotion this season and Lee Clark's men entertain a Bournemouth outfit who have impressed since coming out of League Two.

Charlton Athletic are chasing a return to the Championship and will be looking for three points from a trip to Exeter City, who are without a win in three games this term.

Notts County and Dagenham & Redbridge are still adjusting to life in League One and play host to Yeovil Town and Leyton Orient respectively this weekend.
