Scott: Parkes praise

Jordan Parkes' loan deal at Brentford has ended and he has returned to his parent club Watford.

The England U18 international made just one appearance for the Bees during his time at Griffin Park, but will have benefited from being around a first-team squad.

Parkes is in his first full season as a professional at Vicarage Road and will now be hoping to break into Aidy Boothroyd's promotion-chasing Hornets side.

Brentford boss Andy Scott certainly believes that Parkes has the ability to become a top defender in the future and admits that it was a pleasure working with him during his short stay at the League Two club.

Attitude

"His attitude was fantastic and he integrated very well in the squad," Scott said.

"He was a pleasure to have around the place and a very good talent."
