Skysports.com understands Ipswich have agreed a fee with Watford for Tamas Priskin.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this month, Ipswich have been leading the chase to sign the talented forward.
Watford rejected Ipswich's initial offer, but they have now reluctantly accepted a new bid for the player after Priskin revealed he would not be signing a new deal at Vicarage Road.
Priskin has been given permission to open talks with Ipswich and is due to undergo a medical at Portman Road.
Town boss Roy Keane has been keen to bring in Priskin to bolster his attacking options and he will be hoping to tie up a deal before this weekend's big kick-off against Coventry this Sunday, live on Sky Sports 2.
