Cresswell: Hull bound

Leeds United striker Richard Cresswell has agreed personal terms with Hull City.

The Championship club have spent the weekend in negotiations with Cresswell over a £300,000 move to The KC Stadium.

The forward, who cost Leeds £1.15million two years ago, has accepted a three-year contract with Hull and is due to undergo a medical on Monday.

Tigers boss Phil Brown confirmed a deal has been struck and is now waiting to conclude the signing of the former Preston front man.

"It's been documented that we're in talks with Richard and we've now agreed terms with him," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"It's now a case of him coming into The KC Stadium and him having something to sign.

"Where we're concerned, we've taken our business as far as we possibly can. Hopefully, when Richard comes to have a look around, he will be able to put pen-to-paper."

Brown also revealed that he has lined up another new signing, although he was keeping the player's identity under wraps.

He added: "We've agreed terms with another player, but that's not for anyone's ears until it's been done.

"Ourselves and the selling club are doing our business properly, and it will be kept in-house until it's actually been done."
