Jones: Tragedy
QPR youngster Ray Jones has been killed in a car accident.
The incident occured 12.20am on Saturday morning in East Ham, and the 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jones was one of three people killed in the collision between a black Volkswagen Golf and a double-decker bus, while two others were taken to hospital, one of whom is in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
As a result, Saturday's Championship game between Burnley and QPR at Turf Moor has been postponed, with no new date yet announced.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Everyone at Queens Park Rangers extends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Ray at this sad time.
"The club will be making no further comment at this sad time and we ask you to respect our wishes as we grieve for our young striker."
