Hull City's Nick Barmby has declared himself fit for selection after a four-month spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Barmby, who damaged his knee ligaments in the 2-1 win over Norwich in August, returned to action to help City's reserves beat Hartlepool 2-1 on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old is now hoping to be involved in Phil Brown's senior squad during the hectic festive period.
"I definitely feel as though I'm ready to play some part over Christmas," Barmby told the Hull Daily Mail.
"When I come back into the first-team isn't down to me, it's down to the manager.
"I'm available for selection, but I probably need two or three games to really get into it and get my sharpness back. When you're playing at Championship level it's very quick, but I'll be ready for it, no problem."
