Brown: Premier League targets
Hull manager Phil Brown has revealed he is talking to three Premier League clubs in an attempt to secure last-gasp loan reinforcements for his squad.
Brown has until 5pm on Thursday before the final loan transfer window of the season closes and the Hull boss is eager for new faces as the Tigers chase a place in the top-flight.
Hull sit third in the Championship after Saturday's 2-0 away win over Leicester and Brown, who is rumoured to have targeted out-of-favour Fulham striker David Healy, is looking to bolster his squad ahead of a promotion push.
"We are still talking to two or three clubs in the Premier League with a view to bringing players in," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"They are players we have been monitoring all season but we'll wait to see if they are available to come out on loan.
"I've said all along that I would only bring players in who would strengthen what we've got."
