Sheffield Wednesday have handed new deals to Sean McAllister, Luke Boden, Liam McMenamin and Richard O'Donnell.
Midfielder McAllister has made the breakthrough into Brian Laws's first-team squad this season after a successful loan spell at Mansfield and has made eight appearances for the Owls.
Striker Boden has also been included in the first-team squad and has made three appearances off the substitutes' bench, while O'Donnell played four games for Oldham during a loan spell with the Latics at the end of the season.
Owls manager Brian Laws has confirmed the expected release of club skipper Lee Bullen, while Ronnie Wallwork, Rob Burch and Burton O'Brien must also look for other clubs.
First-year professionals James Kay, Jason Bradley and David McClements have also been released.
