Kalou: Wants English move
Bonaventure Kalou has told skysports.com that he would consider a move to Hull City.
The Ivroian legend is a free agent after leaving Middle East outfit Al-Jazira and a move to England - where his brother Salomon plays for Chelsea - looks a distinct possibility.
The club currently at the front of the queue for the 30-year-old former Paris Saint Germain forward are Hull City.
Hull are hoping to reach the Championship play-off final which would then see them just 90 minutes away from a place in the Premier League.
The Tigers have not hidden their ambition in recent seasons with the signings of players such as Nick Barmby and Jay-Jay Okocha, and Kalou could very well follow them to Humberside.
"Hull City is very ambitious, but I have not decided anything yet," he told skysports.com.
"But it would be an honour to play in the Premier League with a new team.
"Hopefully they will win the play-off and we will talk about a contract but I am flattered they have made contact.
"I always wanted to play in the Premier League, I was close to joining a top London club three years ago so I am bit more reserved now.
"We will speak again in a few weeks and see what is happening."
Hull have already confirmed their interest in Kalou but much will depend on whether they can get past Watford on Wednesday evening, before meeting Bristol City in the final at Wembley.
