Hall: Confident
QPR defender Fitz Hall is convinced new boss Iain Dowie will take the club into the Premier League.
Dowie agreed a two-year deal to replace Luigi De Canio on Wednesday as club owners Flavio Briatore, Bernie Ecclestone and Lakshmi Mittal prepare to take the club forwards after ensuring the club's safety this season.
And Hall, who played under Dowie at Oldham and Crystal Palace, believes the new manager has what it takes to deliver success at Loftus Road.
"He's a players' manager and I am sure all the lads here will get on with him - I just hope he likes me," he told the club's official website.
"When he was at Palace, he was considered the next big thing in terms of management.
"He did incredibly well there to get them promoted through the play-offs and I am sure he will be a success here."
Hall believes that Dowie will demand more of his players on the training ground, but he feels that will be important as the team fights for promotion.
He added: "There will be a lot of changes - training will be completely different and far more intense.
"It's going to be hard work, but I'm sure it is going to be a good environment to work in.
"In my opinion, he is the man to get us into the Premier League and that is what we are all working towards."
