Sito: Released
Ipswich have told Luis Castro Sito that they will not renew his contract in the summer.
The Spanish full-back, who joined the club in 2005, made 14 appearances this season but has been told he is surplus to requirements as boss Jim Magilton looks to improve his squad for next season.
"We have told Sito that we will not be offering him a new deal," Magilton told the club's official website.
"He is a fantastic lad and I'd like to thank him for his contribution to this football club."
And Magilton has made five further players available for transfer as he begins his plans for a promotion challenge.
Gavin Williams, Billy Clarke, Dan Harding, Matt Richards and Gary Roberts have all been told that they can move on as Magilton plans to spend some of new owner Marcus Evans' cash.
Magilton added "We will listen to enquiries for the five players.
"If we don't get any interest that suits all parties then they will obviously be welcomed back for pre-season.
"It's important that these guys play regular football and if it works out that they have to move on to get that then we won't stand in their way."
