Hall: New deal

Marus Hall has signed a one-year contract extension with Championship side Coventry.

The deal will take the veteran full-back into a 12th season with his hometown club and will give him the opportunity to break the 300 appearances barrier.

Hall, who has enjoyed two spells with the Sky Blues, is confident that Chris Coleman can restore order to the club next season and expects to be challenging at the top end of the table during the 2008/09 campaign.

No doubts

"I'm very pleased to sign a new contract," he told the club's official website.

"It's good to get everything in place and I never had any doubts about signing.

"I'm delighted to be a Coventry City player and it's great that I'll be here for another season.

"It went a lot closer to the wire than I thought it would last season but things are in place for next season to be much better."
