Ledley: Final date
Highly-rated Cardiff winger Joe Ledley insists his future with the Bluebirds is in the club's hands.
Impressive performances led to a failed bid from Wolves in the January transfer window, while Premier League teams are also thought to be interested in his progress.
The 21-year-old would like to play in the top-flight, but he insists it will be Cardiff who decide his future.
Ledley's comments come as he prepares for the FA Cup final against Portsmouth at Wembley on Saturday.
He said: "I think Wolves put a bid in and I'm glad Cardiff rejected it. I didn't want to go to any other Championship team. I'm pleased I stayed.
"It's great to be in a FA Cup final. I don't think I could ask for anything more. Of course I want to play in the Premier League.
"I want to play at the highest level I can but that's down to Cardiff City. If they accept a bid I'd have to go. But that's not down to me."
It was his fantastic volley - a goal he described as the best of his career - which put the Bluebirds in the Cup final after the strike saw off Barnsley in the semis.
"Some of the fans have said, 'good goal' and things like that. That's down to them how they look at me. I just try to work harder and focus on the next game," said Ledley.
"I try to do that (demonstrate my ability) every game and this game won't be any different. We are playing a better team. But hopefully I can just keep doing what I'm doing and anything can happen."
While the fans have celebrated the trip to Wembley for their first cup final since 1927, when they won the trophy, Ledley is keeping focussed until after the big game.
He said: "I've just tried to stay fit and keep playing well for the team. I don't really want to go out and start drinking and things like that.
"We have one more game to go and after that maybe I can celebrate."
