Orr: Operation a success

Bristol City defender Bradley Orr is looking forward to returning to action after recovering from surgery.

The 25-year-old spent much of June on the sidelines after fracturing his cheekbone and eye socket in May's agonising play-off final defeat to Hull at Wembley.

Orr is pleased the surgery was successful and he is now hoping to feature against Forest Green this weekend.

"I'm great and everything with regards to the operation has gone fine," he told the club's official website.

"There are bits of numbness in my face but the doctors said that's to be expected. Otherwise all is fine and I'm looking forward to getting involved in games again.

"I'm sure once I've got my first header out of the way then it's back to normal again."
