Watford forward Tamas Priskin has hinted that he would welcome the chance to join Reading.

The Hungarian has just one year remaining on his contract at Vicarage Road and is not sure whether the Hornets would like him to stay or go.

He insists he would be happy to remain with the club, although he also finds the idea of working with Brendan Rodgers again very appealing.

Rodgers left his Watford role last month to take charge at Reading, with Malky Mackay coming in to replace him.

"I wouldn't mind working with my previous trainer again," Priskin told Nemzeti Sport.

"But I'm also happy to stay because Malky McKay and I were team-mates last year so we've a good relationship.

"My contract will expire in 2010 and I don't have any information about if my club was negotiating about my departure with any club."

Priskin added: "I feel very good in Watford. I enjoyed playing football in the last couple of months and after our summer holiday I missed the team and the atmosphere of the club."
