West Bromwich Albion are continuing talks with German international David Odonkor.

The Baggies moved for right-sided ace last month as they look to strike a deal for the Real Betis star.

Odonkor has already confirmed West Brom's interest and he has now revealed that talks are continuing.

"There are contacts, which I cannot deny, but negotiations have not yet begun," he told ABC Sevilla.

"My agent has told me nothing is official, so I am calm and I continue training and we will see what emerges.

"I leave it in the hands of Betis, if they get an offer and want to sell, then I will take it forward.

"I am proud to have the club interested in me, and I quite like English football and that would be an option.

"With West Bromwich, the contacts continue, and we will see."
