Cork: Still learning
Chelsea starlet Jack Cork has indicated that he would be willing to prolong his loan deal at Coventry.
The 20-year-old joined the Sky Blues over the summer in an agreement which is set to run until the end of the year.
The highly-rated midfielder has spent much of the last three seasons away from Stamford Bridge, taking in spells at various clubs.
He accepts that he must bide his time before making the breakthrough at Chelsea, but is regarded as a star of the future by the Premier League outfit.
With that in mind, Cork is prepared to continue learning his trade away from West London.
Keen to be playing on a regular basis, and having enjoyed his time with Coventry, the England Under 21 international admits he would welcome the opportunity to extend his short-team deal at the Ricoh Arena.
"If I'm playing well and the manager (Chris Coleman) likes me and wants me to stay then there's no reason why I can't extend it," he said.
"If Chelsea want to extend it then I probably will end up doing that. I just want to get games really."
