Crystal Palace have given former Woking striker Joel Ledgister the chance to impress on trial with the club.

Eagles manager Neil Warnock wants to bolster his attacking options and the 22-year-old former Southend trainee will be keen to make his mark at Selhurst Park.

Ledgister was part of a Palace reserve side which beat Eastbourne Borough 3-2 on Wednesday, with Nathaniel Pinney and Keiron Cadagon on target as they push for a place in the first team.

Matthew Wright bagged the Eagles' third goal on his return from a loan spell with non-league outfit Maidstone United.

Palace's next game is an away trip to the Midlands to face Coventry City in the Championship on Saturday.
