Plymouth head coach Paul Mariner has revealed that he is at an "advanced" stage of contract talks with four members of the first team.

Versatile midfielder Karl Duguid, experienced goalkeeper Romain Larrieu and young wingers Craig Noone and Yannick Bolasie are all in talks over securing new deals at Home Park.

Eight members of the current Plymouth squad are out of contract at the end of the season, and Mariner has confirmed that talks with the aforementioned quartet are at an advanced stage.

"We've already had discussions with all three players and with Romain. The talks are advanced as far as I understand." said Mariner.
