Paulo Sousa feels his Leicester City side are not getting the rub of the green at the moment.

The Foxes have endured a difficult start to the 2010/11 campaign, taking only one point from their opening four fixtures.

Their latest outing came against Reading on Saturday, where they slipped to a 2-1 defeat.

Sousa's side thought they had snatched a last-gasp leveller when Andy King bundled home in stoppage-time, but that effort was ruled out for a foul in the build-up.

Leicester felt that decision was harsh on them and their manager admitted afterwards that things are not going his way at present.

"It is always bad when we lose," said the Portuguese coach.

"I can praise the players for their commitment but we do seem to be punished for every mistake we make and concede a goal after that.

"However, we need to be much more clinical with the chances we have to score ourselves because that will make us much more confident."

Spirit

The victory at the Walkers Stadium was Reading's first of the season and gets them up and running.

Goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Matt Mills helped see the Royals home, with skipper Mills excelling at both ends of the field.

Having bagged what proved to be the match winner, he later nodded a Steve Howard thunderbolt off his own line to keep Reading's lead intact.

"It was a great goal from Mills and a great header off the line," said Reading boss Brian McDermott.

"But he wasn't alone today. We have a terrific spirit in the camp so it's full credit to all our players.

"At the end Leicester were pushing on and causing us all sorts of problems but I'm delighted we managed to hang on in there."
