Barnsley manager Mark Robins is open to further strengthening his squad when the loan window re-opens next week.

Robins, who took the helm at Oakwell last year, has made nine new captures this summer.

And while there was no transfer deadline day activity for the Tykes, Robins has not ruled out making more additions to his line-up.

"Unfortunately the players I wanted to bring in are not available at the moment," Robins told the Sheffield Star.

"I've spoken to a number of different people about the players that I'm looking at, but at the moment there's nothing doing.

"That's not to say that won't change and the loan window re-opens next week."
