Burnley manager Brian Laws believes there could be some great deals available when the loan market reopens.
The Clarets did not make any new signings on transfer deadline day but Laws is still looking to bolster his squad.
Burnley are hoping to win promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt and Laws may look to bring in players deemed surplus to requirements in the top flight.
He said: "All Premier League clubs have now had to announce their 25-man squad so we'll be observing those.
"There could be some real gems available out there."
