Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill wants to add a right-back to his threadbare squad.

Cotterill, who is so short of personnel he has only been able to name four substitutes this season, will scour the loan market when it reopens on Tuesday.

"The right-back area has been problematic for us, although Hayden Mullins has stepped in and done a fantastic job there," he said.

"The main difficulty of the job has been having an unbalanced squad - I've said that from the outset."

Pompey have been linked with moves for Tottenham duo Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton and Cotterill is expected to step up his interest in the pair as he looks to bring in a new full-back.
