John Bostock is confident Hull City's new-look frontline will soon click and fire the club up the table.

The Tigers have made a slow start to the 2010/11 campaign, with just one win picked up from four fixtures.

That success came on the opening day of the season, when a Bostock stunner helped Nigel Pearson's men to a 2-0 victory over Swansea.

The 18-year-old, who moved to the KC Stadium in a season-long loan deal from Tottenham over summer, admits standards have dipped somewhat since then.

Succeed

However, with fellow new arrivals Robert Koren and Jay Simpson also looking to find their feet with the Tigers, Bostock has urged supporters to be patient as the creative talents within Pearson's ranks attempt to establish an understanding.

"We've brought in a few new players, myself, Robbie Koren and Jay Simpson, that's basically our whole attack," Bostock told the Hull Daily Mail.

"It's going to take a little while for us to come together but I know we'll get there. We're working very hard and I'm sure we'll succeed.

"We haven't seen the best of Jay Simpson yet, not by a long way. He is a natural goalscorer who has scored goals at big clubs."
