The Whites earned an impressive win at the Ricoh Arena to make it back-to-back triumphs in the Championship, sending them eighth in the table.

Leeds have produced some excellent results on their return to the second tier so far this season although with 28 goals conceded they have the third worst defensive record in the division.

This has resulted in criticism from certain quarters but Snodgrass believes the last two games have shown their qualities.

"Our games have produced goals, which is a good thing for people watching - but not for us," he said in The Sun.

"We would rather win 1-0 every week, but no one wants to see boring football, do they?

"Anybody who's seen us conceding goals in recent weeks might have thought we'd be a bit of a pushover. So why shouldn't the last two games answer our critics?

"Coventry were fourth and we took the game to them. We defended when we needed to and we killed the game stone dead at the end.

"We showed our different side, our good character and real mental strength."

Snodgrass was one of the outstanding players on the pitch against the Sky Blues, netting an excellent curling effort to make it 2-0.

Leeds will be looking to make it three successive wins when Hull City visit Elland Road on Tuesday evening.
