Kilkenny: Wants to stay at Leeds
Leeds United midfielder Neil Kilkenny is anxious to agree a new contract to stay with the Championship promotion hopefuls.
Kilkenny's current deal expires at the end of the season and he was recently linked with a move to several rival clubs.
However, the Australia international is about to celebrate three years at Elland Road and is keen to stay with Simon Grayson's side.
The 25-year-old has featured in all bar two of the club's league games this season and is waiting to hold talks regarding a new deal.
"I really want to stay here and feel honoured to play for the club," Kilkenny told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"I want to let that be known. I've enjoyed my time here and feel that I've played regularly over the past three years.
"I've made nearly 150 appearances for the club now and that's really a very good record over three seasons. Hopefully, the club can sort something out."
