Fabregas blames Taylor
Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas has re-opened the row over Martin Taylor's challenge on Eduardo by labelling his three-match ban 'unfair'.
While Croatia international Eduardo is unlikely to feature for The Gunners this year after suffering a double leg break under Taylor's challenge, the defender has sat out Birmingham's last two outings through suspension.
Fabregas feels the mandatory three-game ban for a red card in Taylor's case was insufficient as his team-mate could well be out of action for up to 15 months.
The Spanish playmaker feels Taylor intentionally went out to harm Eduardo, although he concedes that unless he admits his guilt he will never be handed a lengthy punishment.
"Of course I blame him," he stated. "He did it and he knows why he did it.
"Of course he is not going to say he did it on purpose, he will never say that.
"But a very good player is injured for a year and the player who committed the tackle is suspended for three little games. It is very, very unfair."
